About Loretta Czarnota
Loretta is a Chartered Professional Accountant as well as a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager. She has been in the accounting field for over 15 years. She has gained experience in the banking industry, First Nations, Human Resources and corporate business. She has also taken certificate programs in coaching employees, leadership skills, human resource management, Aboriginal history and development, developing business plans and funding proposals, Occupational Health and Safety, and internal auditing controls.
Throughout her career, Loretta has gained experience in negotiating government contracts, developing strategic and operational plans, personnel policy development and review, as well as development and maintenance of asset management systems. She is also well-versed in payables, receivables, payroll and other bookkeeping tasks from clerical to senior managerial perspectives. Though she is most familiar with Sage 300 (formerly Accpac), she also works with other accounting software. She also has expertise in the area of personal and corporate tax. She has also played an integral role in a local organization achieving CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation.
Loretta is an excellent coach for organizations who want to independently use their own programs and do the work themselves. She explains the accounting processes in a way her clients can relate to and understand. Loretta will go the extra mile to ensure clients are comfortable with whatever accounting services they have chosen, whether it be heavy involvement in day-to-day operations, or simple check-ins on a monthly or annual basis. She is very flexible in meeting her clients where they are, and on their own time.
Loretta Czanota has lived in Prince Albert for the past eight years with her husband and two young children and is proud to call PA home.
